Saint francis predicted to win their first ever nec volleyball crown

The 2024 NEC Volleyball season is shaping up to be an exciting one, with Saint Francis being predicted to take the top spot, edging out last year's champions, LIU, by just a single point in the preseason voting. Both teams split the first-place votes evenly at 4 each, highlighting the close competition expected this season.

LIU made an impressive run last year, advancing to the NCAA Tournament, where they faced off against #1 Nebraska. While LIU's performance set a high bar, Saint Francis is eager to make their mark. Interestingly, the Red Flash have never claimed the NEC title before, making this season all the more significant for them.

At NEC Blitz, we plan to be on the ground in Loretto, PA, to see firsthand if the Flash have what it takes to finally secure that elusive championship. With the season kicking off on August 30th, all eyes will be on the court to see which team rises to the top.
